I’m just like probably most of you have used quite a few disposable razors in my life. Why? Mostly because they’re super light and easy to carry. Also, because they actually do the job they’re intended to do. I love travelling but I sometimes happen to lose my belongings. I always try not to have valuable stuff with me. Having a disposable razor can be super handy! If you’re here, you probably want to find the best disposable razor possible. I picked my top 8. 4 of them are for men and the rest for women. However, I always encourage people to use the best products no matter what the labels say. If the razor does its job, it doesn’t matter whether it’s pink or black.

Best Disposable Razor Reviews
Here are reviews for all the products I’ve mentioned above. Some of them are based on my own experience, others are based on research and my friends’ experience. Overall, I do think that these products are the currently the best in the market, especially for those with sensitive skin. I know how painful shaving can be, trust me!
If you buy a pack, you’ll get 6 of them. You won’t need to worry about changing blades, that’s pretty handy, I think. This razor has a lubrication strip that protects and soothes your skin whenever you’re shaving. Therefore, you’re less likely to get bumps or suffer from any redness afterwards. It comes with an advanced skin guard as well. It sort of stretches your skin and helps blades to get closer to the skin without damaging it. The handle feels nice too. Each disposable razor lasts for about 5-6 shaves, that’s not too bad considering the price. Additionally, it can tackle thick hair quite well.

Obviously, it’s not all perfect. If you have very sensitive skin and struggle to find a disposable razor that wouldn’t cause bumps, Gillette Mach3 won’t necessarily help. It’s light and mostly good for travelling. Anyone who’s searching for a razor for regular usage, should get one with a bit more substance.
Schick Hydro 5
The pack contains 3 disposable razors. I know those numbers are confusing. I genuinely thought there were 5 razors in the pack myself. The price per razor is similar to that of Gillette Mach3 though.
Shick Hydro 5 is called “Hydro” for a reason since it has 7 hydrating gel pools that lubricate skin and protect it. They don’t last long though. The blades have skin guards on them. They reduce friction when shaving which results in bump-free skin. In addition to that, the rubber handle this razor has doesn’t feel too bad either. All in all, easy and pleasant to use.
One of the cons of these disposable razors is that they rust quickly, therefore you shouldn’t let them sit on your shelf for too long. They’re disposable razors after all! Also, since each razor has 5 blades, the head is a bit larger and makes it harder to shave smaller and more delicate parts of your body.
Gillette Sensor2 Plus
Like to have a big pack of razors that you can use any time you want? Gillette Senson2 Plus might be what you need. Each pack contains 10 disposable razors. Very often you can buy three packs all together and get them for a slightly cheaper price. The link I included contains a deal like that.
Each razor lasts for around 2 shaves which isn’t that much. They come with lubrastrips that contain lubricating powder. Lubricating powder helps to reduce irritation by soothing skin. Additionally, they all have pivoting heads that adjust to body parts and improve overall shaving experience.
My boyfriend used a few and was overall satisfied with the quick shave. He has sensitive skin and we haven’t noticed any breakouts. However, I do have to tell that blades weren’t as sharp after the first shave. They’re cheap and there are quite a few of them so that’s all right. You should also not forget the amount of plastic you’d waste by throwing away razors after using them only once. That’s something I personally dislike.
Yet another Shick product. Each pack contains 12 disposable razors that last for about 1-2 shaves. What I like about these disposable razors is that each of them have Vitamin E strip that nourishes skin while shaving. I think it helps to smooth the whole process and just leaves skin more relaxed. It kind of makes skin shinier as well. It has a nice, rubbery grip too.
In my opinion, it’s one of the better choices for those with very sensitive skin. It’s pretty soft on skin. However, it still manages to give a clean shave. Obviously, don’t be surprised if you’ll need to toss each razor out after one shave only. You get what you pay for.
Gillette Venus Sensitive
I’m recommending this razor not just because it’s pink! Ha ha! I used this one myself on my legs and was quite happy with achieved results. I have sensitive skin but managed to stay bump-free. Gillette Venus Sensitive comes in packs of 3. Each razor has 3 blades surrounded by protective cushions. I think they are mostly the reason why this product is so good for sensitive skin. Pivoting head is helpful when shaving knees or other bony body parts.
Even though this razor leaves my legs smooth, I feel like it’s not as effective after using it for 2 times. Blades get duller. That’s completely normal though and understandable knowing the price.
Schick Hydro Silk Razor
This razor is a bit different since it actually comes with razor blade refills. In addition to that, the head of this one is a bit bigger as well which is extra useful for shaving larger body parts such as legs. It’s ok for hard to reach areas too. The coolest thing about this product is that it comes with water-activated serum that contains shea butter. That helps to keep skin smooth and moist. Obviously, that serum doesn’t last forever.
I do feel like you have to pay extra just for the box. Sometimes it might as well just be better to buy a razor for men for a lower prize and get the same results. On the other hand, this razor can last for up to 10 shaves, that’s something to consider!
Gillette Venus Embrace Sensitive
I love the design of this razor. However, that’s not the only reason why it made it to my top list. First of all, you can refill blades whenever you want and that’s something I prefer over throwing away all of my razors. Second of all, it has a protective moisturizing ribbon that contains aloe. Aloe vera is well known for its antibacterial properties that can protect you from unnecessary razor bumps!

From my experience, this one gives a very close shave. I’ve been happily using it for my underarms for some time. I did have a few bumps here and there but not all the time. I have very sensitive skin. I don’t even expect smooth underarms anymore! Well yeah, unless I’m epilating. Anyway, it’s one of my favorites and it comes with 2 blade refills in the initial pack.
BIC Soleil Twilight
I’m still wondering why this one has a word ‘’twilight’’ in its name. Anyway, a pack of those contains 4 razors with 3 blades each. They also have lubricating strips with lanolin and vitamin E. Lanolin has that kind of waxy texture that coats your skin and protects it from irritation. Therefore, a combination of it and vitamin E offers a great way to avoid irritations. In addition to that, they have lavender scented handles that will totally help you to enjoy shaving procedure more. Make sure to use loads of soap with these though. Otherwise you may cut yourself now and then!

A Few Useful Shaving Tips
How to Choose the Best Shaving Product?
I know that sometimes it’s not very easy to choose the right product that suits you. I’ll try to help you with a few tips.
Think About the Price
You need to know how much you want to spend on your shaving procedures. In addition to that, make up your mind whether you need something permanent or just temporary. In case of the latter, disposable razors might be just for you. They tend to be cheap but won’t last for long. Otherwise, consider buying something more expensive such as a safety razor that you would be able to use for a while.
Consider How Sensitive Your Skin is
Once again, the more sensitive your skin is on a one part of a body, the more you may want to buy something of higher value. Disposable razors do tend to cause rashes more often than for example electric shavers. That’s the reason why you need to sort of test your skin and see what work better on it. Each body part can react to various products differently. My suggestion – take your time and see what works.

Know How Many Blades You Need
If you end up buying a razor, think about the number of blades you’ll need. You might be ok with just one blade if you’re shaving your arms or legs. However, you may want to consider buying a razor with 5 blades for your face. You get the idea.
All in all, I hope you found the best disposable razor for the magical YOU! Have a lovely day and take care.
